<p>We have limited the increase in fees for early bird payments to 5-6% as we recognise that membership fees represent a significant cost to you.  However, an increase in fees has become unavoidable, after not increasing membership fees in 2011, as a result of significant increases to our cost base, specifically:</p>
</div>
<div>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
</div>
<div>
<ul>
<li>Hockey Victoria team registration fees which have increased by $8,000 from 2011</li>
<li>Coaching costs which have increased by $9,500 from 2011 as the club has responded to feedback from members to provide dedicated coaching for the top two senior teams for the men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s sections and coaching for the metro teams</li>
</ul>
<div>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
</div>

<p>The club has made / will be making a number of payment options available to members including:</p>
</div>
<div>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
</div>
<div>
<ul>
<li>Integrated registration and payment through the Sporting Pulse website (available from 13 February)</li>
<li>Direct deposit into the clubs bank account (BSB 033-169 Account 750465) &#8211; please include your name as a reference to enable easy identification.  <strong>THIS IS THE CLUB&#8217;S</strong> <strong>PREFERRED METHOD</strong></li>
<li>Credit card  - the club&#8217;s credit card machine will be available for payment by arrangement</li>

<p>Preseason 2012, those two words that I know you are pumped to hear after last year. What a great  achievement going up to State League 2, so many players working hard, having some fun and striving for us to achieve. Preseason is open to all, men, women and juniors.</p>
<p>Any players wanting to be involved in the <strong>State League Squad/Pen teams</strong> will be expected to be involved in <strong>all Preseason training sessions</strong> with skills training starting in March. Until then training sessions will be more fitness/strength based with emphasis of speed/agility and fun blended to provide harmony.</p>
<p>And not to be too obvious but please endeavour to be at which ever venue you are expected to be at <strong>15 mins before the start time</strong> so we can all start on time… and please call if for some strange reason you can’t make a session. We are committed to making this the best pre-season ever for you, so we expect you all to make the effort as well. Bring water and a towel to all sessions…</p>
<p>Any queries, problems or if you want a chat about the pre-season program Call <strong>Dan</strong> on <strong>0432 711 040</strong> <strong><em>Note:</em></strong> the sessions will vary; variety is the spice of life.</p>
<p>SO…can I suggest that for 1st team players you should be doing some sort of fitness now…playing a game of summer hockey, going for a run, riding a bike or swimming at least once or twice a week…</p>
<p><strong> (please note <span style="text-decoration: underline;">every</span> session below will be 7:30-9pm) </strong></p>
<p><strong>FEB:<br />
</strong><strong>2nd/ 7th/9th/14th/16th/21st/23rd</strong> (Tues/Thurs combos) we will be doing agility, strength &amp; speed sessions. <strong>Opposite Milanos(</strong>near South Road.<strong>), Beach Rd, Brighton</strong>.</p>
<p><strong>FEB:<br />
</strong>28th (Tues) on ground training at <strong>Brighton Secondary College, Dendy St, Brighton East </strong>(same as last year)</p>
<p><strong>MARCH:<br />
</strong>6th/8th/13th/15th/20th/22nd/27th/29th (Tues/Thurs combos) on ground training at <strong>Brighton Secondary College, Dendy St, Brighton East</strong></p>
<p><strong>APRIL:<br />
</strong>we are back at APK</p>
<p>There will be some preseason games during March &amp; April…to be advised when all fully sorted!</p>
<p>Get into it this year, we have worked so hard for the past 3 years to go up let’s have areal crack and finish as high as we can…i will reward those who make an effort. for the 1sts players, being at every training session possible is a must…you have to show your commitment to the club, your coach and your teammates…<strong>no excuses</strong>…</p>
