Club Focus

2011 is shaping up as an even bigger year for the Club, to build on the successes of 2010 and to consolidate our future in Victorian hockey, as a Club people want to join and a Club on the move.

Our focus for the year is as follows:

• Family focus, encouraging participation at all levels of endeavor whether playing, organising activities or socialising
• Promoting a friendly club with a strong sense of community
• Promote a fun, safe and fair environment for playing hockey at PSHK
• Promoting Club membership
• Promotion of juniors to senior teams
• Guidance and development of coaches and umpires
• Consolidation of Women’s State League 2 and Pennant A teams
• Focus on gaining promotion for Mens State League 3 Team
• Maintenance and / or Promotion of other teams through the grades.

To this end the Committee has been hard at work since the AGM with the above Club focus in mind. Further development and implementation of initial components of our long term plan / direction to move the club forward are also on the agenda for 2010, and you will hear and see more about this as the season progresses.
