A disappointing 1 nil defeat to Knox at home due to an early and some would say soft Penalty Corner. The team were dealt another blow when their attacking Right Half Nick Haige was taken off after a high speed attack resulted in a collision with a defender, Nick was later diagnosed with a broken collar bone. A very disappointing 5 -5 draw on a cold mothers day meant a few grumpy faces at the dinner table. Saints went behind very early in the game through a penalty corner which was generously donated by the Saints defence. The weather had cooled down and the rain had stopped Sunday afternoon Footscray at Footscray.
